This training is a Confined Space Awareness course to cover the training aspects for the ‘relevant worker’ under the WHS Legislation.
This Confined Space Awareness course is not intended to be all encompassing for complex confined space entries but to provide suitable and adequate information, training and instruction in relation to the following;
(a) the nature of all hazards relating to a confined space;
(b) the need for, and the appropriate use of, control measures to control risks to health and safety associated with those hazards;
(c) the selection, fit, use, wearing, testing, storage and maintenance of any personal protective equipment;
(d) the contents of any confined space entry permit that may be issued in relation to work carried out by the worker in a confined space;
(e) emergency procedures.
Designed for people to gain an understanding of what confined spaces are and the obligations required of employers to manage work that is conducted in or around confined spaces.
NOTE: Private courses can be customised and tailored by experienced and qualified Safety Consultants to suit your company needs (additional charges may apply).
