Managing Work Related Psychological Health and Safety

Training provides a systematic practical approach to identifying and managing work-related mental health issues. This is part of the Work Health and Safety legislation to provide safe workplaces systems for persons health including psychological health.

This training highlights poor psychological work health and safety that can lead to both psychological and physical injuries. Developing and using a robust system can assist business processes to reduce business disruption and costs from work-related mental health issues. This will have a flow on effect of improving worker engagement and job satisfaction.

The training is designed to give participants a basic understanding of how to support someone who is experiencing mental health concerns. It is the ideal platform to begin mental health training.

Participants will learn how to design safe workplaces and how to integrate mental health into all areas of a business, including,

• legal responsibilities of the employer
• strategies to support mental health at work and how to embed them into your business
• how to design healthier workplaces, procedures, job roles and responsibilities
