DESCRIPTION:Fire Safety Adviser Refresher Training\nThe Fire Safety Adviser is a person who holds an approved building fire safety qualification\, issued within the last three years. Approved building fire safety courses are made up of eight units of competency in Workplace Emergency Response within the Australian Quality Training Framework. \nThe Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 was introduced on 1 July 2008. The most significant reform in the regulation is the requirement for occupiers of high occupancy buildings\, as defined under the regulation\, to appoint and train a Fire Safety Adviser. \nThis one day Fire Safety Adviser refresher courses reviews the following eight units of competency in Workplace Emergency Response within the Australian Quality Training Framework. The training topics covered in this one day training cover:\n– Identify\, prevent and report potential workplace emergency situations\n– Ensure workplace emergency prevention procedures\, systems and processes are implemented\n– Manage and monitor workplace emergency\, procedures\, equipment and other resources\n– Respond to workplace emergencies\n– Operate as part of an emergency control organisation\n– Lead an emergency control organisation\n– Manage an emergency control organisation\, and\n– Confine small workplace emergencies. \nNOTE: Private courses can be customised and tailored by experienced and qualified Safety Consultants to suit your company needs (additional charges may apply). \nWe have more information relating to the Fire Safety Adviser (full)\, Fire Safety Adviser (refresher) and First Response Fire Training for you to peruse if required. \nFor more information on this training please contact us or peruse the other training courses on offer.
