DESCRIPTION:Work Health and Safety Training for Supervisors and Managers\nThis Work Health and Safety Training will provide Managers and Supervisors with the necessary skills and knowledge to participate effectively in Work Health and Safety matters at their workplace. The foundation of this course is based on the practical application of the Work Health and Safety legislation\, including roles and responsibilities. \nThis course is for supervisors and managers to learn more about the aspects relating to legislative compliance to the work health and safety issues in the workplace. This session will provide familiarisation with managing work health and safety requirements in line with legislative requirements. This will assist supervisors and managers to effectively manage health and safety in their area of responsibility. \nThe key areas covered by this course include: \n\nDuty holder responsibilities\nRisk management and hazard control\nWHS legislation framework\nWHS consultation and participation processes\nIdentification of training needs\nAnalysing WHS data\n\nUpon completion of this Work Health and Safety Training participants will be able to: \n\nInterpret and apply relevant health and safety legislation\nUnderstand roles and responsibilities within the workplace including the concept of due diligence.\nKnow what legislation enforcement measures are in place.\nUnderstand and apply a number of consultation\, co-operation and communications strategies for a safer workplace.\nApply the principles of Risk Management\, including identifying hazards and assessing and controlling risks.\nCreate and implement a critical risk register.\nUnderstand which incidents are notifiable under the legislation.\nDevelop and implement strategies to make their workplace a safer environment.\n\n  \nFor more information on this training please contact us or peruse the other training courses on offer. \nNOTE: Private courses can be customised and tailored by experienced and qualified Safety Consultants to suit your company needs (additional charges may apply).
